See Life Paulagics has instituted our Frequent Sailor Program as a "thank you" to those participants who consistently join us on our trips. We also hope to encourage people to come out with us more often as we try to learn more about pelagic life throughout the calendar year. In our local area, there is still an amazing amount still to learn about pelagic birds, mammals, and other creatures.

How Does It Work?
Becoming an SLP Frequent Sailor is sort of like setting up a pelagic ATM account. You send in an advance payment of $500 to create a credit with us. You then use that credit to pay for your trips. If you use up your credit by the time we run 8 scheduled trips from your state of choice, you will receive an additional $50 Frequent Sailor Bonus from us! There are other advantages too:

• You get to sail with us!
• The 8 trip "clock" counts only trips from your state of choice, so trips from "that other state of <insert name of that other state here>" don't impact your ability to earn the Frequent Sailor Bonus.
• The 8 trip "clock" counts only trips that actually sail, so a run of bad weather doesn't impact on your ability to earn the Frequent Sailor Bonus.
• You get to sail with us!
• You don't have to keep sending in checks and sign-up forms. Just phone or e-mail us to sign up for a specific trip. (No, you are not automatically signed up for trips, so you still have to contact us.)
• If you don't sail often enough within the required 8 trips, you lose nothing.  See "What If I Don't Use The Credit In Time?" below.
• Did I mention that you get to sail with us?


What If I Don't Use The Credit In Time?
Although you won't earn the $50 Frequent Sailor Bonus, you do not lose the credit generated from the money you sent to us. It's still your money until you use it, not ours! You can still use the credit for future trips.  And if anything should happen that prevents you from being able to use your credit, such as moving from the area, we will gladly issue you a check for the remaining amount upon your request.

Are There Any Other Restrictions?
Well yes, there is one big one. This offer is restricted to the individual who signs up for the Frequent Sailor program. You can not use the credit you established with us to cover a trip for multiple people, or use it for somebody else on a different trip. If you decide to use part of your $500 credit for somebody else, you will no longer be eligible for the $50 Frequent Sailor Bonus.

Sounds Great! How Do I Sign Up?
You can sign up by sending us a check for $500 with a note that says "Sign me up as a Frequent Sailor!" (The exclamation mark is very important. Please just use one. More than that is excessive.) Be sure to indicate whether you expect to sail more often from New Jersey or Delaware. We'll send you a confirmation upon receipt of your check. If at any time you wish to check on your current balance, you can always drop us an e-mail.
